Didax – From unifix cubes to base ten blocks, number lines and ten frames, this website has almost every single manipulative commonly used in my classroom.

The Math Learning Center – Another fantastic resource of digital math manipulatives, including pattern blocks and geoboards.

Worksheets and Curriculum

K5 Learning – Worksheets that extend from counting numbers all the way to fractions.

Khan Academy – This well-known online resources has a three unit course for first grade math. There’s even a kindergarten and second grade version too!

IXL – 334 videos and 74 games covering 349 first grade math skills.

DREME Family Math – Want to learn how to practice math with your child without worksheets and away from the computer? DREME has resources for you. “Created by leading scholars in the field of mathematics education—and with input from professionals in fields like yours—our playful and engaging family activities transform everyday household routines into math learning opportunities. No special skills or materials required. Many activities also available in Spanish.

Would You Rather Math – Children learn to politely argue and justify their problem solving with these great brain teasers.

Flashcards

Fact Monster – Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division flashcards with seven levels of difficulties.

Math Easily – Has both addition and subtraction flashcards, as well as games.

Games

Mathgames.com – Worksheets and games for Pre K through 8th grade.

Math Easily – Has many games for addition, subtraction, geometry, and number sense.

IXL – 74 math games that cover a wide range of first grade math topics.

PBS Kids – A couple dozen different games often featuring several popular PBS Kids characters.

Tang Math – Don’t let the boring grey icons fool you, these games are a blast. Ten Frame Mania is fun for those who like to click fast, while Kakooma is great for those who like a good puzzle.

NCTM Illuminations – Has games for K-12th grade, often focusing on geometry. I particularly find Grouping and Grazing to be ridiculous and fun. There are also brain teasers!
